Welder Fitter

Vibro-Acoustics, a Swegon Group Company is recruiting for a Welder to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Markham, ON. Vibro-Acoustics is a North American leader in HVAC, noise control, vibration isolation, and restraint system solutions. We offer half a century of unsurpassed industry experience to consultants and contractors.

Please note the requirements for this role in our plant:

  • MIG weld sheet metal (18 GA to 3/16”)
  • Weld structural steel, galvanized and stainless steel.
  • Weld to meet Quality expectations of the product.
  • Understand and conform to drawings and manufacturing instructions.
  • Follow directions of Lead-hand to complete tasks.
  • Communicate well and interact well with others using good inter-personal skills.
  • Pass a welding test as part of interviewing process.
  • Pass a blue printing reading test.
  • Previous experience including skills and ability to perform the work will be an asset.
  • Our schedule is Monday to Thursday 10 hrs/day - afternoon shift 4:30pm - 3:00am (please note shift subject to shift rotation)
  • Hourly Wage: $19.49 + $0.70 afternoon shift premium

Required experience:

  • 2-3 years welding experience or a will consider a recent graduate from a certified Welding Program
