Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative who brings sales drive, ambition and technical ability together. Someone who prides themselves on being able to connect customer needs to superior service and exceptional product knowledge within our Noise Control/Acoustics division.

Prior experience within the HVAC or Noise Control Sector is not necessary – mentoring and training will be provided. In this role you will be joining a fantastic team of professionals where dedication and commitment are rewarded. Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating customer's needs and promoting Vibro-Acoustics' products
  • Issuing quotations, ensuring proper scope and best pricing is obtained by reviewing drawings, specifications, and coordinating strategy meetings
  • Follow up and negotiations with Reps on quotations to convert to orders
  • Writing up orders to ensure proper scope, descriptions, construction, and performance is presented so that approval is achieved first time
  • Achieving sales targets and objectives as set out by the Sales Manager
  • Completion of change notices accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Developing relationships with Representatives by providing the highest level of proactive customer service

Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate

  • Completion of post-secondary education
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and schedules would be an asset
  • Superior ability in building strong relationships with sales reps through phone and online communication
  • Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical and organization skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work with deadlines and comfortable multi-tasking
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills in Excel and Word
