US West Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – VIRS

Vibro-Acoustics, a Swegon Group Company is recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our Western US team.

Reporting to the Director of Sales – Vibration Isolation & Restraint Systems, the US West Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing business in the region, managing sales with manufacturing representatives and taking ownership of all sales activities in the US Western Region.

The VIRS West business unit, within Vibro-Acoustics, is a rapidly growing and dynamic area of the company that helps provide improved occupant comfort in commercial buildings, and more importantly helps increase life safety.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing the sales strategy within the region, working closely with Representatives and some direct customers
  • Manage and maintain the Sales Funnel / Pipeline
  • Recruit, manage and maintain a team of ‘best in class’ Sales Representatives
  • Develop relationships with key sales individuals at independent Sales Representative firms, OEM’s, and Contractors
  • Work with Marketing to develop and execute marketing plans/campaigns to engage sales partners to promote, present and effectively sell our products
  • Business Development – Proactively develop other revenue opportunities through new sales channels
  • Forecast sales targets
  • Contribute to the budgeting process
  • Liaise with other company functional departments to ensure achievement of sales objectives
  • Evaluate performance of Representative firms
  • Provide feedback, support and coaching to the Project Managers

Education and Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development
  • 5 years of experience with a company selling through independent Sales Representatives or Distributers in the US
  • 8-10 years HVAC Technical Sales experience
  • A Degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering is preferred
