Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of our VIRS (Vibration Isolation and Restraint Systems) division, the Regional Sales Manager - Canada will be responsible for growing and developing the Canadian Sales Territory. This includes managing Representative Sales Agencies, Wholesalers, OEM's and Direct Sales initiatives. The successful candidate will work to build relationships, value sell products and services, execute the sales strategy and manage sales channels. The RSM will be tasked with driving a sales and customer focussed atmosphere within the group.



  • Develop and maintain relationships with key individuals at our Sales Channels (Manufacturers Reps, Wholesalers, OEM's and Direct Sales)
  • Develop and carryout Canadian Product and Service Sales Strategy
  • Conduct sales calls to Contractors (Mechanical, General, Sheetmetal)
  • Conduct lunch and learn presentations to Consulting Engineers (Acoustical and Mechanical)
  • Perform take-offs for projects and provide quotations for Sales Channels
  • Negotiate project bid and product costs with customers
  • Manage and maintain the sales funnel throughout the sales process
  • Assist with bid strategies on large direct quotations to contractors within the Greater Toronto Area
  • Assist in closing other projects in direct territories and provide closing training to sales partners
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Product Management on pricing, market needs and new product development opportunities
  • Provide technical solutions to customers for vibration or restraint issues
  • Train reps on products, services and other fulfillment processes
  • Conduct site visits
  • Increase the contribution margin within the sales territory
  • Please note - approximately 25% travel required to other provinces across Canada


  • Sales driven, 'hunter mentality', demonstrates initiative for moving sales forward
  • University or college degree in Engineering is beneficial, but not necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Significant and demonstrated knowledge of HVAC Sales Channels - Manufacturer Reps, OEM, Wholesalers
  • Minimum 3 years of value selling experience
  • At least 3-5 years of HVAC industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of Vibration Isolation, Seismic Restraints and Noise Control/Acoustic Solutions is preferred
