Vibro-Acoustics, a Swegon Group Company is recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join our team at our office conveniently located in Markham, ON. Reporting to the Noise Control Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the successful, profitable and on-time completion of Engineering Projects while exceeding customer expectations. From coordinating the approval of products with our customers to managing deliveries, the Project Manager will manage a wide variety of complex noise control projects ranging from $30,000 to $2,000,000, including but not limited to sound attenuators, enclosures and barriers.


  • Liaise with Manufacturing and Sales to meet technical requirements and project’s schedules
  • Provide technical support on our products and applications
  • Review the requirements of the project to ensure that all applicable information is received from the client. Contact client for additional information if required.
  • Read and analyze customer architectural/mechanical drawings, and equipment and system blueprints/shop drawings.
  • Increase order margins while meeting the requirements
  • Review and releases product drawings to engineering group to prepare manufacturing drawings
  • Develop, and cultivate relationships with customers
  • Maintain a practice of professional development, including knowledge of Vibro-Acoustics line of product and services, industry standards and codes, technical tools required for the job and advancing technologies.
  • Problem solving of site and installation constraints with the mechanical contractors.
  • Deadline driven - extra time spent in the office may be required to complete assigned tasks within the given deadline.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred
  • 2 to 3 years experience with Mechanical / HVAC commercial or industrial equipment or systems - this could include recent job experience, or relevant coop experience
  • High level of problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Personable, charismatic and sociable personality is a must.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, and willing to seek new opportunities for personal and corporate growth.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven.
  • Project management skills required.
  • Proficient in the AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with engineering and architectural drawings an asset.
  • Highly organized and deadline driven.
