Job Summary:

This role is the Information Management Technical Leader for Swegon North America, providing support for a suite of applications for our internal and external information space. Responsible for leading all aspects related to supporting and maintaining the applications and will collaborate with application development and support teams, business partners, infrastructure specialists and application vendors to successfully fulfil your role. You are responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships within the enterprise that can be leveraged for improved communication, planning and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
  • Ensures there is cooperation and synchronization between Local IT and Group IT
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Key resource for managing application enhancements, integrations, and resolving support issues
  • Develop a deep understanding of application architecture and workflows related to data movement across multiple application systems
  • Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides to assist in capturing and disseminating subject matter expertise within the business
  • Verify application results by conducting system audits of various technology platforms and implement strategic solutions for identified issues
  • Handle annual IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Effectively engage with team members and business partners to successfully maintain strong, healthy, honest relationships

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Three (3) or more years of application support and enhancement experience
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in various IT disciplines (networking, hardware, software, help desk, user support)
  • Extensive leadership experience in software implementation(s) in distribution systems or enterprise organizations
  • Experience supporting business critical enterprise application suites
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, that will enable the candidate to manage cross functional technical teams along with enhancing both business and team member relationships
  • Experience supporting ERP systems (preferably infor M-3) is required
  • Experience supporting CRM applications is preferred
  • Certification in project management is an asset
